   Well I should say that I’m a big fan of cyclones because of the holidays. I badly need some sleep

   The only problem is that I have to turn off my pc Tvr! Still have my mobile though.

   When was the last time we got a big cyclone??? It seems to me that cyclones are getting rare… but more powerful. :S

   I like/hate cyclones for the same reasons – good for holidays, bad for the damage caused – & most importantly, I’m pissed off when there’s no electricity!

   @Paolo: Hello. Thanks for visiting Island Crisis. You can have a look at the map HERE for the predicted path and predicted position of the cyclone for the mentioned date.

   I think by 9 February however the cyclone will be out of the Mauritian region. You can ofcourse come with no worries and enjoy yr holiday

   @WDB: Ohh yea.. still with the annoying sound lol. Its increase mental tension that music lol.

   You can also view click on the images above to view the large recent version of the satellite and trajectory images as they are updated as soon as the sources (meteo mauritius and france) update their images too.

   @JOyshan: The issue with yr blog is ok. I’ll mail u the details in some minutes. Yea even I am charging the battery to full la… I hate when there are no elctricity.

   @Melina and Ashwin: Yea thats the downside of it. I worry mostly for those kids without proper homes and even the animals. Hopefully around here the neighbour let the wander dogs enter in the yard when there are heavy rains and cyclone. So they will be safe here. But at other places??

   @Sjdvda and Kensley: Yea lol. No school for you. I didnt wanted a holiday tomorrow though as I shall be having a very ineteresting class on wifi lan connections tomorrow…but there will be cyclone most probably lol.

   The thunder is already making its BAW here lol. Gonna switch off the modem in some minutes.

   for electricity failures…charge all batteries…my laptop is ready and has 2 additional batteries as backup, mobile ok, i need to find a way to keep my *beep* livebox alive…any ideas?..carrot?

    Well you have created a cyclone in the web I am a workaholic and if there is cyclone class III, I will be sick sitting at home without being able to move .I cannot stay in one place for a long time.I will not be able to look at my blog or watch TV.

From what I see on the expected trajectory I see the Island Madagascar who must worry… They are the direct target of the cyclone :S

    Hey its phenomenal, cyclone warning 2 and all officers need to report on duty on time. However, we note police officers not on time to open 3eme voi on time. On top the minister of Embouteillage always on priority to go first.

    All this resulting in traffic congetion. C’est degoutant pour île comme Maurice.

    NO matter is cyclone or not – result the same everyday.

    May be my dr friend Mr Mayor can add few comments and confirm this to you

    I still remember cyclone Gervaise in 1975 and it was my first experience of a cyclone. I was working at Bigara near Curepipe when the cyclone came and the most thing I remember (besides the wind and rain) was the eye of the storm when it passed over, the sudden drop in wind speed the eerie silence, misty and no sounds of birds or animals, then the winds came back but from the opposite direction. We recorded winds in excess of 120 mph (190km) at Bigara

    @Mike Pearce: Thanks for sharing the memories I often hear about this Gervaise cyclone from my parent every time there is a cyclone. I guess it was really a trauma for many mauritians. For my generation I still remember cyclone Hollanda. Wow… That is what i call a monster lol.
