As at now I only got the list that all newspapers are printing. For the details…even I am expecting the MES website to be update so that I can better display the whole list. @Sarah: Lol. Thanks. Am not a journalist though. Just a blogger
    :-) Our aim is to better channel the informations that are made public so that people get it easily via the common search engines. One major lacking though is the lack of proper information at the right time on the dedicated websites such as MES. For the first part I listened in the radios and typed the info quickly (concerning the first stats above).

    For the whole list, hopefully a friend at mes send me the names but he there were errors concerning the colleges as he just copy pasted but missed the additional scholarship part lol. so I had to cross check with lexpress…and had to wait too lol.

    Well for sure MES website will be updated by December 2009 lol.

    On behalf of Tushal and myself, a warm congrats to everyone.

    P:S Message from Tushal

    @Avish and others–>I won’t be online for at least 1 week. My motherboard took fire and is now officially dead. And ACD computers is playing a lot of games with me in order to repair everything. The pc is still under warranty. But I’m unhappy with the number of days that ACD will take to repair. {At least 4 days} whereas other shops will take less than 1 day to repair and test everything. I told them to give me another pc meantime since I have to complete my assignments and return them on Monday and Wednesdays. But they refused my request on the spot. I told them that I’m going to have my pc repaired at another place and I will send them the bill along with a notice from my lawyer. And the cost shall be upon ACD computers.

    Off topic–> The power supply which they put in my pc was a faulty one.Fucking morons.

    Paradoxically, the enthusiasm created by the names of the laureates disheartens me a bit. Although I recognise being a laureate is some achievement, and deserves to be celebrated, it is disappointing that it is ONLY through a list of names that we can display our “sens de l’appartenance”. Man, I still remember the epoch of intercolleges,and the shivers it sent through my body when mighty Saint Esprit were battling it out with nemesis St Joseph in packed stadiums. That was THE thing. And although CSE won the competition for 30 straight years, the fantastic atmosphere was a collectively-created one. Bonds were formed (the axis of LCQB-CSE and the one of LCC-SJC namely). And if you think that the back pages were always filled with stories about the internal conflicts in the MFA or the badminton association,you are sadly mistaken. Athletic exploits WERE celebrated. Now what, we are reduced to say “RCC mari” or “QEC the best” on the basis of who has the more names on that list. Sad.

    @Ed,
    You’re sadly true.It literally drives me crazy to hear that maddening banter,’xxxx mari’,'xxx rulz’…’Sens de l’appartenance’,yeah right…What’s the need to go overboard with ridiculous raving when it’s not going to change a thing to the truth?Frankly you’ll never get me to understand THAT.
    It won’t hurt to have some genuine loyalty though.

However I think that people should understand that the laureates who actually are the “mari” and not the college itself as the people who got the results are those who worked and gave dedication to their studies. Colleges only have a pool of “possible” laureates which are already sieved since childhood. Racehorse industry

    Hey lads wanting to tell you how ACD computers of Belle Rose Sucks Why?
    Here’s the fact went to leave my laptop Hp DV9292 five months from now for a diagnostic as i was not having display,after the formalities at the shop the guy told me he’ll call as soon the job is done …..ok a week passed by still no news , went there to inquire and the guy gave me a sheet to sign but by looking at it carefully i saw that the diagnostic was completed the very next i left my laptop quite pissed but i stayed quiet cause i needed them, my mainboard was to be replaced so i moved next to the retail dept to ask if it was possible for them to order a mainboard ,luckily the guy named Ganesh P told me the price which was RS11500 and i would receive the delivery within 20 ………..daysand i had to leave 5000 deposit, 5 months passed, each time having excuse that te product is out of stock , shipping delayed and finally the part arrived but was incompatible!!!! I asked to have a look at the spare part but Ganesh told me that it was in his store and was not possible,,,,but how incompetent the guy was to have ordered a mainboard without even looking at the hp serial number …..any how took 2 weeks for me to receive my refund check but was bounced !!!! holy crap thinking to make it a Police Matter Now……….. also forgot to say that my power supply cord was missing and they scratched the glossy finish of the top cover ..what an asshole/jerk when i left it for the second time to mount tthe part ..

    ADVICE PF THE DAY DON,T GO TO ACD COMPUTERS THEY’RE ARE SCAMMERS AND SHITHEADS PRICES ARE NOT COMPETITIVE AT ALL.Finally I ordered my mainboard from an American Company and cost me RS 7500 only new wow a hhhuuuuge difference…..

    Anyone can compete for laureate. It’s not necessary to get 5A or any A. Of course if a student got 5D and he/she is going to compete, there is less chance he can actually do it but he is still free to compete.

    I competed for it too. There is no difference in anything. It’s all the same and just for namesake.
