Well a very very short note to just announce that there will be no school on Tuesday 17th February 2009 in Mauritius! Hu Jintao visits to Mauritius is bringing some rest time for our students lol. Infact due to the huge traffic problems that are expected, schools and work will be ending early of Monday. More details at Priscus Blog.

Its been about 6 months now that the blog was wearing the old (but still good) pair of clothes manufactured by Infocreek! The last cloth update was on the 17th of August 2008.

The enrolment of students at UOM for undergraduate, postgraduate and auditeur libre are open and registration can be done at the online registration page of UOM here. Yesterday was the Lunar Eclipse. The first moon eclipse of 2009. So here are a few shots taken by astronomy fans from around the world.Please note that this is a penumbral eclipse that is it is seen when the moon enter the penumbra (the shadow of the planet earth). Unfortunately the weather in Mauritius was damn too cloudy and there are no shot from here.
