A Free UML Sequence Diagram Creator By Steve Hanov

I was looking for a simple free uml modeling tool to help me create UML Sequence Diagrams this morning. Luckily but with some coincidence I found Steve Hanov free web based UML sequence digram creator. I think his work pleased me so I am writing this as a simple way to say thanks.

The tool is simple, you just enter your description in text and it draw the uml sequence diagram for you. You download the image by right clicking and saving the sequence diagram image to your pc.

Infact I was having a look at the joke image below about how a HR manager and a programmer read a resume and then found Steve’s blog. I was attracted by its simplicity but yet very informative posts. So here is one in my feedreader. Then I noticed that free UML tool to draw the sequence diagram. Ohh the joke… here it is below.

Some of you must be saying if I don’t have Visio? Hmm infact I don’t have. I hate complicated stuffs. I prefer simple free tools that do the job. Yesterday I downloaded UMLET another free open source UML modelling tool. I am currently doing my dissertation and these diagrams take time and I got to submit that on Tuesday (Yes yes I know I had one academic year to do these – I was busy doing what I love: Blogging!). Getting back to work. Normal blogging trend will be resumed on Tuesday.
