Google’s Most Searched Terms In Mauritius 2009
We have google trends and we have google insight but did you ever looked for the list of the Google’s most searched terms in Mauritius? If you use Google insight to get it, the main keywords will be of course the very common that everyone knows such as Facebook, Mauritius, Yahoo, Google, Youtube or even Sex!
However these are not really of much interest. Everyone know these and its almost the same for most countries. How about the REAL search terms unique for Mauritius and which is of very recent updates? (Not about Google Insight!) Here is the most awaited list just for you! And please don’t ask or ever ask me how I got these for Mauritius! If you happen to know it too, then keep your mouth shut

Among some of the values above, I expected a lot but there are really some which seem weird lol. These are the search terms that are MOST popular for this month only, that is the very recent trends. Amazingly it seem that Mauritians are more addicted to search for Facebook stuffs than Sex now lol. And what is the most common words that you search more often you?

Where i got it
I’ll keep this a secret for the time being but its not on ‘where’ i got it. Its ‘how’. The list is longer for example those starting by A but for also other variations of the A plus consecutive alphabets. How i made the list will be for later as teh full list I am currently compiling that to be used in my final year project… so I would not want the other groups who are doing on “almost” same topic as mine to catch my work 
I’ll keep that for later.
Search per word, that I could not get. The list i gave, i have infact show only two example for each alphabets. Its not really that indicative but better than the Google Insight list one which is not really reliable for search in mauritius.

Thats Google Insight?
Infact I dont trust the Google Insight data so much when it comes to Mauritius (too less search compared for other countries). Those words too are in my original list… however some keywords tend to have a rise for one or some days then dies…these have not been counted in the list in the post. Its about keywords that have been popular in April but also been having a long time top search period too. I have skipped some above, example “tagged” or “mauritius holidays” too are among the top searched.

Even i thought the sale by levy stuff would have created a high searched keyword. There is a problem in Mauritius…the fact that not much people use google to search for real information. No surprise why the g-trends of india and mauritius look a bit more the same when compared to the g-trend of usa where there is a real mix of different type of search terms.

alphabetical order is irrelavant… it shud be in the MOST SEARCHED order..
and i dont quite agree with this list. I cant find MBC. and i totally refuse to believe that Zayed khan is more searched than MBC. kavyanjali?? :S:S

The list is only for mauritius search trend. Sadly enough Mauritians do not search for Obama and twitter so much yet. Less again for election in india when they do not even search so much when there is an event in Mauritius lol. Cricket? This is for india top search trend and australia too among the top.
