Bernard Madoff Sentenced to 150 Years in Prison
Bernard Madoff has been sentenced to 150 year to jail! This is the judgment which has just been announced a few minutes ago. Just in case you don’t know him yet, this man has been sentenced for a fraud of over $ 65 billions and ruined the lives of many!
Since some hours a huge crowd was gathering just outside the New York court and upto 11 victims told the court how they have been ruined by the sudden loss of all their savings due to Bernard Madoff.
Bernard Madoff is currently 71 years old and this 150 years of imprisonment means he will have the retire holidays in jail till he dies now. His lawyers was expecting he would get the 12 years imprisonment due to his age but finally the court decided the other way.
Bernard Madoff is guilty and has pleaded guilty in March 2009 to a wide range of charges! These include securities fraud, money laundering and perjury. More than 13000 people lost their whole life savings thought the collapse of Madoff Securities. Steven Spielberg is one of the victims!!
A further enquiry is now being done on the wife and children of Bernard Madoff. Until now they have all denied to know of the frauds that Bernard Madoff did and say they have nothing to do with these.
Contrary to SOME country where the head of frauds are always let out free, Bernard Madoff is a good example given by the court!

No racism …but IMO this just shows that American are favoring Jews (even though Madoff is a jew) it seems to me as if American Justice is trying to set up an examplary punishment to just say “you don’t mess with Jews”…

What nonsense! This guy was the mastermind of a $65billion fraud. It would not have mattered whether he was black, white, yellow, green, purple,…etc or whether he was a Hindu, Muslim, Catholic, Portestant, Scientologist, Buddhist, Jewish, Jain, Sikh,….etc

Only 150 years? I kinda hoped for something along the lines of 65 billion years. One for every dollar. Also… 65 billion years ago is when the dinosaurs went extinct, so that number would be hilarious to me.
