Jockey Danny Nikolic Sacked by Fok Stable
Well that’s news for you racing buddies. Danny Nikolic has been sacked from Fok stable today after supposedly showing disrespect toward the Mauritian Turf Club stewards. His riding contract in Mauritius has been terminated today.
Danny Nikolic won five races since he started riding in Mauritius in April for Fok stable.
“We have been called by the Racing Stewards after an incident in the stewards’ room during which Danny Nikolic showed disrespect towards the Racing Stewards,” Budheswar Gujadhur said in a report on the Mauritius Turf Club website.
Following the meeting, the stable trainer decided to terminate Danny Nikolic contract as he says these are things he cant accept. (lol)
Fok stable contacted François Herholdt today itself to replace Danny Nikolic. François Herholdt accepted the contract and will be riding for Fok as from the 15th meeting, that is the next week.
If Nikolic is not taken up by another stable I think he will be returning to his country Australia in some days. Anyway that was news from the most whory industry of Mauritius lol.
PS: By the way guys I’ll be updating your points tomorrow for the past racing day. Currently stuck with some project and taking overdose of coffee here.

Bad publicity for horse-racing in our beloved Mauritius Island!
Both nikolic et dye were unfairly suspended for 1 wk and i believe niko never accepted that decision!!!
