When Selling Yourself Means More Than Competence In Mauritius
How about a Sunday evening to criticize the system we live in. How about to shout it out that people who sell their A$$ in Mauritius are more valued than competence! Unfortunately my friends we live in the world and Mauritius is not a separate entity to the land of leechers!
Are you a targeted audience? No we are all or almost of the black powder of the land while everyday all I keep seeing is some su*ker somewhere or there getting a frak of priority just because he is the son of that big man or she is the daughter who paid that man a dinner the other night!
Its like you got cocaine in your blood and you just keep watching it all like numb unbelievers! Open your eyes and you will see you’re in the crowd of their target and they handle your strings as the prophets of deceivers!
How do I explain to the kid who ask me why his elder brother is not getting a job in Mauritius even though he has a very good degree for which he was made a freaky slave for 3 or more years at a business shopping center called the universities! And the same kid sees that the other fuc*er who is the son of that big mercedes owner man is taking the place of the human resource manager even though he got a big disgraceful F like Fu*ker in his school leaving certificate!
How to I explain to the woman who strived for years in that damn flowery system we call education to get the best results on a freaking paper we call the certificates and she spent nights awake working for all these to finally see the daughter of that fat arse man with the big bank account get a job that even his father’s father would have never imagine even though she’s a freaking useless, nonsense and bloody idiot?!
And we as the prayer slaves all we do is to pray. We pray! We keep praying like loosers that God will give us justice! That God will make the system less of a leecher. We go to the voting poll to vote that damn looser of a man so he can control our arse so much that unless you’re the son of the doctor you cant get even an oxygen mask if you’re dying of suffocation and if you decide to fight then you’re labelled as a terrorist!
When you see that female dorg owning the MSC seat by paying Rs5000 to a decider who wanted the Rs5000 in his dirty wallet to buy some rubber protective material to use it with the some other female dorgs while the ones who merit it is left as she was too honest to apply using the legal and good ways!
If you wish for a collection bullet then they make you into a serial killer but if they get the faggot in the country they have a security licence! They got the devil’s army after their bums so they need some creepy security. He spent his time licking the catties all the way along and you work hard like a bloody undead to finally see he got what you should have got just because he is the relative of the man who decide the winner!
This is the time when you realize that selling your soul, loosing your self respect, becoming a MF like them, is what value more than real competence in the country. When you see dorgs behaving like they are the wolf of the ice age, when you see crows thinking they are the phoenix and when everyone just listen and look as if they got a mouth to STFU and become a puppet!
So how do you label this! Chance of the individual? Or are we the scapegoats and celebrated victims of the fame of the M.Fkrs!

Actually many of us go to uni for a better future bla bla bla bla…. when some people are buying a bsc seat for 5000rs yeah thats the cost. Person X get the seat and person y who was a deserving one… do not get it.
It is said that uom students are the future of the country. Nice saying.
At uom students learn how to corrupt.
Some say students bribe lecturer, gals act like B*tches with lecturers…we all saw… who will dare to day i am exageratin …
We start to see lecturers acting as friends… gals wearing small skirts for presentation…
We saw students giving lecturers favours like …. niteclub tickets … Am i lying?
Students offering lecturers dinner …. Am i blind?
NO wonder why the present and future will be corrupted.
The system teach many of us how to corrupt.

wow… so shocking to read all this… lecturers are giving such examples to students, so cheap.. UOM and Mauritius in general have become places where mini skirts are the code dress for almost all girls.. concerning the 5000rps, in knw some1 at uom who has a BSC and was working at lecturer, kumen pu explik sa!!!!
so much backing, frankly and honestly no one is innocent, everyone is greedy and corrupted, not in Mauritius only but abroad also.. what kind of actions can be taken against these people and how??? thats the hard things, but evrything is possible now..

As far as I know Lovvy, i think its just in our field which the backing stuff is lower…I mean IT where competence is needed…now its for the simple reason the companies are not \mauritian in blood lol.. but else in all other fields here it u need backing backing BARKING.
Would like to point one thing here. Not all lecturers are alike. There are some who do their work so well that we need to respect them. One lecturer who I respect a lot and appreciate his work (and i think all CSE must like him too for his dedication) is Mr Seetohul. he is the best lecturer i saw at uom concerning his dedication for work. But then not everyone is an angel at uom!
the special case of paying dinner for lecturer…ohh…. thats a real story someone just told me on msn some time before i write this post. Then i think its time to compile all the complaints and put them forward!

I agree with you that there are some very good lecturers at uom, and no one can take their place at any cost, like Mr. Pascal, Mr. Brandell, Mr. Chuttoo, etc…
but some people are not good at all to teach, and some have so much ego.. [well only one person i know like that]
Long live UOM.. we can’t just blame UOM, all these things happened because of the “polluted atmosphere” > Corruption everywhere in Mauritius..
People @ MCIT also are bribed.. i saw it with my own eyes.. just too good!!!!! [the reverse]

He got backing so he got the job, you don`t –go to hell… his dad is the rich man, he bribes, your dad is a medium class man, he can afford to have his son struggling. Afterward you will get his job but at a lower grade doing his job after all as he relaxes on his fat ass… You work had and he gets the reward…leftovers are for you!

The MBC with his rs100 fee per house, shows sponsorships, government allowances and big advertising fees make only 15 millions rupees last Financial year… how the HELL??? Just watch a hindi film one thursday @ 8.30 and you`ll see all those adverts “pe defiler!” Because they are all political suckers, incompetents!!

I graduated in Physics in 2006 at UoM … this is not the same UoM I know … maybe FoE is different from FoS … or is it that physicists are better people than the rest

A degree-for-sale or trade is one of the key problems that every country is facing. It’s a little more in places like India, Pakistan or Mauritius… However, have you seen those ‘get your diploma’ junk mails that’s coming out of countries like US? Even they have plenty of cheap degrees for sale though we tend to talk about Harward and MIT etc all the time

Coming at the cheap degrees… I know people here in MAuritius who went to BUY DEGREES out there in UK and finally come to the country to say “Hey I went to study in UK…you remained in Mauritius you.”… lol as if they have become better by going to another country’s university and BUYING a degree.
