Mauritius Turf Tips – Week 21

August 28, 2009 / 88 Comments

Welcome back guys and girls (yea we have some) to Mauritius Turf Tips. How many of you are still safe from Minister Jeetah? Oh sorry I mean still safe from the h1n1 virus. :P Well let’s put aside this damn creature for a while and let’s talk about horse racing.

Tips For The Week

  • Race 1: Portmanteau – Blessed Arabian
  • Race 2: Everlasting – Best Offer
  • Race 3: Wild Dan – Looks To Kill
  • Race 4: Heliotrope – Ansel
  • Race 5: Romp In The Forum – Majuba’s Flag ( p badine uncout sanla :P )
  • Race 6: Ritz Cub – Fashion Editor
  • Race 7: Pantaneira – Count Me In
  • Race 8: Young Announcer – Steel Of Approval

I am still waiting for the Blue Label from Ryan as from the spy sources we heard he made it big last week lol. Ryan everyone is waiting for the treat. Well this week as I mentioned previously there is something new in the game!

As usual you will give your tips, best jockey and stable but you will also be able to give an outsider which worth 500 points at one go!! Too hard? Mind you, I mean an outsider! Don’t give me The Cardinal lol. But now there is a catch. Since the odds are always changing, I don’t want to be unfair to those who submit their tips earlier or those who submit late.

So here is how I will award an outsider each week. From the 8 horses than win, I will see which one was cheapest just before the race start based on Tote Lepep closing odds. For example last week the horse Baraloche was over Rs2000 something and was the most outsider. So anyone giving this horse as his outsider win 500pts!

RULES OF THE GAME

  1. Give tips of 2 horses maximum per race. That is example if you give tips for race 3, you must give a maximum of 2 possible winners and not more.
  2. Give the stable that will win the most race this week!
  3. Give the name of the Jockey who will win more races or in case of draw he will win more places. (2nd place is priority to 3rd of course)
  4. Give ONE outsider you think can win only. If it win you get a bonus of 500 pts – (New)

POINTS SYSTEM

You will be awarded points at the end of the racing day. Your name and points will be displayed in the post itself and also in the sidebar on the right in the TIPSTERS section.

  1. If any in your 2 horses win you get 25 points
  2. Those who gives the best stable of the week gets 50 points as bonus!
  3. The one giving the best jockey will win another 50 point bonus.
  4. Your outsider horse win and you win 500 pts! (New)
