TR.IM IS BACK
Due to the overwhelming response when Tr.im announced it closing down, Nambu Network, the company behind the URL shortening service Tr.im has decided to launch their service again. That should be a good news for all the Tr.im fans while somehow a knock to Bit.ly and Twitter favoritism!
In a recent blog post, Nambu Network said that they decided to open Tr.im again due to the huge amount of public request to not close the service. Nambu Network said they will keep Tr.im alive but the future of the service is also a matter to think about.
To remind you, Tr.im blamed Twitter for favoritism toward Bit.ly for its closing down. In fact they are not wrong because we can see it quite well that Twitter favors Bit.ly whenever you publish a long URL. As Nambu Network said, they believe that Bit.ly has deep personal connections and agreements with Twitter and therefore the service seem biased.
