Google Real Time Searches
Google real time searches are possible! Just like Twitter real time search, you can in fact use Google to view search results in real time. So here is a small night post to show you how to do this.

As you probably already know, Google now enable you to search or more precisely refine your search by date and time. So for example you want to search for something but you want results published only let’s take for example during the last week only.
So Google enable you to choose the time frame on the left hand side with the option button. But now coming to REAL TIME searching, let’s say we want only the latest results for the past ONE MINUTE?
Real time searching is really important mostly when tracking breaking news or other stuffs which might not yet be promoted up in the Google results. So here is the query that will enable you to perform a customized real time search:
http://www.google.com/search?as_qdr=n10&q=mauritius
You can change this query. The n10 infact tell Google to give you results within the last 10 minutes. If you want results for 2 minutes you would change that to http://www.google.com/search?as_qdr=n2&q=mauritius
Below is an example search using the normal search time frame for Island Crisis. As you see the results are more relevant of course. But now assume you wanted something that the Google Bot has crawled just a minute ago on Island Crisis? You would use the query above.

You can also bookmark this post and use this bookmark below to define your search if you do not want to have this little Google query in your head or simply add it to your Firefox.
