Last week some participants here raised a topic on the Maiden cup post about the BONUS of outsider which was 500 pts. The conclusion of that discussion is that 500 pts is really much and of course has some disadvantages. Here is why:

Originally my idea was to make everyone give ONLY ONE outsider then I would award 500 pts if the person got it. However some were finding it hard and I must agree that in that case only 1 or 2 persons would have got it by the end of the racing seaason. So I made a change so that even if the outsider of the day is found among your tips you will obtain the outsider bonus!

Now with the original idea it was ONLY 1 CHANCE per week to get 500 pts. But now with the way it is calculated, you nearly have 17 CHANCES per week to get the bonus. This mean that even if someone put ALL OUTSIDERS on their tips they will win 500pts which makes the game bad as we will then have an unfair competition.

So I have reduced the bonus too as your chance of obtaining it is greater by 1700% now! So the bonus will be 200 only. This will also discourage people to only give outsiders tips in their 17 tips just to win the bonus.

As such all previous participants who won the outsider tips at 500pts in the two previous weeks (as the bonus is here only since 2 weeks), there total point will be corrected and 300 removed to reflect the new points. Participants affected by this are: Khalid, Ashfaq and Kevzz. Their point will be corrected and ranking remade by today afternoon.

This should also be fair to those participants who have been participating here on a regular interval each week since the start. You can check the Tipsters League Board which for this week specially will show the corrected points.

RULES OF THE GAME

Give tips of 2 horses maximum per race. That is example if you give tips for race 3, you must give a maximum of 2 possible winners and not more.
Give the stable that will win the most race this week!
Give the name of the Jockey who will win more races or in case of draw he will win more places. (2nd place is priority to 3rd of course)
Give ONE outsider you think can win only. If it win you get a bonus of 200 pts – (New)

POINTS SYSTEM

You will be awarded points at the end of the racing day. Your name and points will be displayed in the post itself and also in the sidebar on the right in the TIPSTERS section.

If any in your 2 horses win you get 25 points
Those who gives the best stable of the week gets 50 points as bonus!
The one giving the best jockey will win another 50 point bonus.
Your outsider horse win and you win 200 pts! (New)
