Sydney Martian Red Sky
2009/09/23 - By Kurt Avish - 1,147 views
Sydney woke up today with a Martian Red Sky never seen before. This was due to a dust storm which had nearly cloaked the atmosphere in Sydney. The sunlight had to strive to find a way in and this amazing Martian atmosphere like effect is just amazing!

People in Sydney woke up and were wondering what happened to the world as everything seem red. Transportation problems were reported as well as a sudden increase in astmatic cases due to the high dust density in the atmosphere.

The effect was at its peak between 06:30 to 07:30 (Australian time) and began to fade as the sun went up the sky. Really nice pics of nature at play anyway.
