Blog Action Day 2009 – Climate Change
2009/10/15 - By Kurt Avish - 105 views
They scream as much as they want – They jump higher as they can and yell as loudly as they can – Yet no one is listening to them. Isn’t it time? We are killing ourselves every second! We are destroying our own world every minute! Yet how do we care? We don’t! And it’s for the very egoist reason that we are not yet suffering from our doing but out there other human and innocent animals are paying for our sin!

Everyday we keep contributing to the deterioration of our environment and our birth-land. And who do it most? US! Us for we and USA! Us for all those large capital with the hundred thousands of vehicles. We are changing our world’s climate but I hope we were changing it for the better instead of for the worst. And we don’t care! Yea we don’t because stop here for one minute and think about these:
- When was the last time you preferred to keep you car at home and travel by bus just to at least save the world of one car emission?
- When was the last time you were worried about that poor kid whose house was washed away by the flood YOU caused?
- When was the last time you felt guilty when you saw all those poor animals dying when these magnificent forest out there burn to ash?
- When was the last time you wonder where will the polar bear live if the icebergs vanish?
NEVER! Because we are here writing about it or reading about it and we’ll forget it all tomorrow when the Blog Action Day is over. But here are some scenes which you have contributed too and you do not even know. Yea YOU are responsible for what you will see below.
When you wake up one morning to see this! – Its you and climate change!

When water start becoming scarce – Its you and climate change!

When this poor animal that you find so cute no more has a place to live! – Its You again!

When you hear terrible cyclones killing thousands far there – You are responsible!

But worst! When you see this fire and don’t imagine all the souls crying in there! – You’re the beast

Climate change will occur but don’t make it occur at a pace which it should not be! Remember you have only one land and the only habitable one as far as we know. If you don’t act today to save our world, our children’s children may not have a place to live in the coming years.
Sadly to say, we are animals too among the other animals and we are the one responsible for the destruction of our world. And who suffers most? Not you! Not us! But it’s more these innocent animals and people who have less to do with the destruction of our planet which do!
How can you save our world? Our brothers and sisters across the world have decided to join hands today to tell you about it. Head to Blog Action Day official website and join in. Whether you have a blog or not, write about it where you can, talk about it, and share about it.

Yea the right persons will feel targeted and hopefully identify themselves
But still….indirectly each of us is contributing (in some ways maybe we can’t live without).

I think a lot of people aren’t bothered about climate change because they haven’t seen it affect them directly. Like in the UK, for example, the weather over the last decade has been the average, apart from a couple of hot summers.
I walked 10 miles yesterday (albeit because i was lost), but i didn’t decide to use the bus! It’s small (and silly) things like that that will save our beloved planet
China, India, USA biggest contributors?
