Two F-16 jets of the US Air Force have collided just some minutes ago near the coast of South Carolina. One of the F-16 fighter plane has successfully landed at Charlestone Air Force Base with much damage while the 2nd plane is still missing along with the pilot.

Search are underway. Coast Guard News just updated that one of the plane is down in the Atlantic Ocean and there is no news of the pilot for now as rescue team are deployed near the collision spot.
Update 1 20:00 GMT+4
The two pilots have been identified. The one who successfully landed is Captain Lee Bryant. He was able to land the F16 back to Charleston Air Force Base. However the 2nd pilot, named Captain Nicholas Giglio is still missing as at now.
Rescue team are still trying to locate the other pilot whose jet was most probably damaged. As at now no details about the jet state were obtained but pilot Captain Lee Bryant is safe and unwounded.
We’ll update as soon as there is more information about the missing pilot and F16 jet.
