IC Best and Worst of Mauritius 2009 Poll Is Open

It’s this time of year again when we need to know who and what were the best but also the worst companies, groups, events, stuffs and people of Mauritius Island in 2009. Welcome to the IC Best & Worst of Mauritius 2009 and it’s time to start the whole 2 month of voting!
Last year if you still remember, there was the Crazy IC Award 2008. Well for this year I have renamed it but also decided to make it a more targeted and vast polling operation for Mauritius. As such for this year 2009, all of you readers will have the chance to vote from 15th October to 15th December 2009. A whole 2 month of votes about what you like or dislike this year in Mauritius.
As for the previous year, the different questions and polls are already prepared and you will have too vote for your favorite but also for the one you disliked the most. For this year, the voting starts today and ends on 15th of December, that is 2 months to collect the opinion of people for this year and the IC Best & Worst of Mauritius 2009 grand result will be announced from the 17 to the 23 of December in groups of 2.
The survey for this year consists of 16 questions about many distinct parts of Mauritius and Mauritian happenings. Below are the questions as well as answers nominated for this year based on general public talks and reactions throughout this year on Island Crisis and Twitter. So share your opinion and tell the whole of Mauritius who you like and what you didn’t like. Note that in some questions below you can select one ONE answer while in others you can select upto THREE answers. These are indicated near the question itself. Ready?…Vote!

Eh pas p bon ditou la. Nou pas p d’accord ki tone met l’express quotidien et l’express dimanche dans meme panier! l’express quotidien et l’express samedi fabriquer par même l’équipe basically: same journalists, same editor in chief.
Par contre, l’express dimanche ena so propre l’équipe, so propre redacteur en chef ek so propre département graphique! Nou physiquement, éditorialement et mentalement séparer de l’express quotidien. Guet ene coup ki ou capav faire.

What about the following:
– Mauritius Most Favorite Mobile Network 2009: one answer missing: “NONE”
– Worst bank (i got my opinion on that one, but i’ll wait the 12% having voted for it to come back crying in one year after realising they have been entrusting their hard-earned money to a supposedly international bank that doesn’t even have e-banking…
– Worst public service should include the full list of para-statal bodies and other “authorities” like RDA (Road Development Authority), IA (Irrigation Authority), MRA (Mauritius Revenue Authority) who have “authority” as name only, but no balls to ACT!
– Worst road (maybe too many of them…)
– Best NEW movie on MBC (maybe none…)
