I think it’s gonna be a real battle in Pakistan on this day when the Festival of Light is celebrated in the world. Right now over 32000 soldiers and backed up by hundreds of tanks and artillery are moving toward the Taliban stronghold in one of the most massive attack ever launched by the Pakistani army against the Taliban.

Since the last few days, the Taliban has been increasing their attacks in the region and today morning the Pakistani government has decided to launch it’s final eradication mission but we wonder how far will this succeed. Let’s wait and see.

The same people were called freedom fighters (Mujahideen) when they sided with the US to defeat the USSR. It’s unfortunate that the Pakistan government is a puppet of the US and singing to their tune, a smoke screen most ordinary mortals cannot see beyond.

These people are fighting the US and Pakistan governments simply because they believe that US interference in Pakistan and its designs to rule the region are a direct assault on their sovereignty and integrity. They are doing what the government doesn’t have the balls to do.

There are many internal wars being fought around the world. It’s sad that only a selected few are reported repeatedly to suit the needs of the leaders of the world. If they chose to ignore it, it would never appear in the media. But that does not suit their plans for the future, unfortunately.

My heart goes out to all the women and children who are trapped in the middle of this conflict through no fault of their own.

I can only imagine the difficulties they must face.
