Photo sharing site Photobucket.com is soon going to be sold off by MySpace who officially own it since 2007. Nothing is confirmed yet but rumors on the web indicates that the deal has nearly reached its final peak.
Photobucket has billions of images hosted and users across the world. In 2007, MySpace bought the site from its original owners at about $250 millions! In the past 3 years, photobucket has grown quite well but MySpace never really used it together with their main site or with any affiliation.
Photobucket is one of the favorite photo sharing site of many with Flickr leading the league as at October 2009. MySpace is supposedly going to sell Photobucket to a company named Ontela.
B.P = $250 millions – S.P 3 years later = $ ??? – We are going to hear about the deal soon.
