Teacup Pigs For Sale

The craze of Teacup Pigs is back! Remember we posted about a Mini Pygmy Kittens some time ago here? Well they are on sale now but..but do not be in such a hurry. They cost each £700! And for now are available only to celebrities who have pre-ordered them.

These tiny teacup pigs reach adult age in only two years and believe it or not, their maximum weight at adult age is only less than 28KG. Wondering why we calling them the teacup pigs? Well simply because they are of the size to fit in a tea cup during their first few months.

If you look at our previous post about them, you will see some people asked about the hygienic issues and so on. Well here are some facts about the teacup pigs (also known as Mini Pygmy Kittens).

  • They are quiet and clean compared to real pigs
  • They can live upto 18 years
  • Very few health issues and highly defensive against minor pigs diseases
  • Surprisingly, it is being claimed that they are the 4th most intelligent creature on Earth after Humans, monkeys and dolphins!

And wondering how they were made? Well the teacup pigs are crosses of Miniature Pot Bellied pigs with Tamworths, Kune Kunes and Gloucester Old Spots. So already getting excited to get one of them? Sorry they are sold in couple
:) Yea you cannot leave them alone. Right now they are available on to celebrities who pre ordered them.

Jane Croft who has even left her daily job to breed them says that there are about 50 of them but all are already pre-ordered. And guess what? Among those who ordered is Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint. Hope these will be available to a greater audience soon.

    Dont be fooled teacup and pigmy pig grow BIG some as much as 100lbs. They take a lot of work, food and cleaning.

    @Amanda, do they really cause i want one but i dont no if i want one that gets to be 100 pounds i want a small light one that can be able to stay in the house and not make a mess!
