Google Images Introduces Browse Bars

Google Images has added a new very useful feature. An image browsing bar on both side of the results now enable users to navigate to other images without actually reloading the page. This enable faster browsing but also a more user friendly search.

If you go to Google Images and search for something, there is a set of image results which appears. However to go to the next set of images you would normally click on the page numbers below. Now with this browsing bars, you simply click and it load the next page images without reloading the whole page.

I was currently looking for some photos for an upcoming post and found this. The image loading is faster too as while the first page is loaded, Google image actually keep loading the thumbnails of the other pages too. So when you click to view the next page result, you do not have to wait.

Kudos Google Images Team!
