Michael Plank – Lizard Smuggler With 15 Lizards On Chest!

Michael Plank, a man who strapped over 15 alive lizards to his chest has been arrested by the customs of Los Angeles International Airport for illegal Lizards smuggling! So after the Spider Smuggling episode in Brazil, now it is about our friends the Lizards!

Michael Plank, a 40 year old man was in fact returning to the US from Australia when US Customs found 11 skinks, two monitor lizards and two geckos tightly fastened to his chest. And should I mention it is illegal again? Lizard Man was arrested and had to pay $10000 to be released on bail.

Australia is very strict on the exportation of its reptile and as such Michael Plank attemp was a pure breach of the Australian law. While he excaped the Australian guys, he was wisely busted by the US ones. And at times I wish even we had such laws to protect our animals, knowing how many of our very precious species are exported everyday toward Europe to be sold at sky rocketing prices!
