Mauritius Minister of Justice Rama Valayden at CCID Office Today

2009/11/05 - By Kurt Avish - 300 views

The Mauritian Minister of Justice Rama Valayden will FINALLY be questioned by the CCID today. Rama Valayden is expected at the Barrack due to his publicly controversial claim on the 12th of September about only the Creole section of Mauritius are victims of police brutality.

rama valayden

By now you must have already heard about it, and also how the Mauritian Police Force lodged a formal complaint about this claim which tend to promote racial fights and racism in Mauritius. The funny part about this is the eternity-like time taken to question the Minister!

A small thief stealing some cheese packs in a supermarket is busted within hours and kicked like a dog however Mr the highly respectable joke of Justice took nearly two months to be REQUESTED at the Barrack! And guess what people? He has a whole panel of lawyers to defend him, namely Shakeel Mohamed, Raouf Gulbul, Nanda Kistnen, Girish Baboolall and Sanjay Buckory.

So the movie will be projected on the plastic screen of justice today. Many of you already know how it will go on and how it will end…so happily! So even though you know of this political cinema’s end, let’s wait and see like fools of the country. (As always)

Update 15:00 – There is NO charge on Rama Valayden (as predicted!) and the police concluded that no further enquiry is to be done.

    In the O.J Simpson Trial which was a high profile murder case there were only two lawyers involved to defend him. In the case of Rama Valayden, nine lawyers were involved to defend him for sedition. Why??????????????/

    @FRANK,
    Its just bcoz he can afford nine lawyers.. that’s it. No need to crop useless ideas in ur head for nothin.

    Am sure there’s more imp issues to discuss upon than mr valayden have got 9 lawyers to defend him.
