A chemistry student named Vladimir jaw’s was blown off by an exploding chewing gum! What’s more horrible than this?! The 25-year-old student in northern Ukraine was found with his disfigured remains after his chewing gum exploded in his mouth!

The young guy who was a student at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute was working on a project on Saturday when his chewing gum exploded in his own mouth, killing him on spot. Ukranews mentioned that a loud pop was heard from the student’s room.

Forensic reports state that the chewing gum was covered with an unidentified chemical which resemble like explosive material. The victim was a chewing gum fan and always had one in his mouth. He had a strange habit of dipping his chewing gums in citric acid before chewing.

Another unidentified chemical substance was discovered along side his table and is thought to be the explosive material which he was using for his chemistry test. Apparently he confused between the two substances and dipped his chewing gum into the explosive material before chewing it.

And we ask ourselves is it the chewing gum which is unsafe or the way it is consumed which is so!
