Just in: Jimmy Sullivan also known as The Rev is dead. The [wikipop]Avenged Sevenfold[/wikipop] rock band member was 28 year old and was known to be among the world’s best drummers!
The other band’s members released a public message to confirm this news. Quoted below:
“It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world’s best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy’s family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.
Jimmy you are forever in our hearts.
We love you.M Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance and Johnny Christ”
The first report we have here says that Jimmy Sullivan died of natural cause. However confirmation about the cause of his death is to be clarified later on.
Our sincere condolences to Jimmy Sullivan family and friends and Rock fans lose a talented drummer and musician today.

Really sad news. Avenged Sevenfold is one of the best hard rock bands to have come through the last years and they now lose one of the bases of the band. Many groups lost precious members (AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Metallica…) but went through. Hope that history does the same for the band.
