Lee Bevelheimer Adopt A 64 Year Old Son

93-year-old Lee Bevelheimer has adopted a son however his newly adopted son is a 64-year-old man named Harland. Decades ago, when the now 64-year-old man was 14, Lee Bevelheimer provided foster care to the guy. That was long ago and most precisely in 1959.

Harland never left the Bevelheimer family but he also never became officially a member of the family. Later on, Harland moved to Missouri to go on with life. Bevelheimer is now an old man and even Mrs Bevelheimer is dead. In October this year, Bevelheimer contact Harland and told him that he wished to officially adopt him before he died.

The adoption procedures were done yesterday and Lee Bevelheimer is one among the oldest person to adopt a child. They said love has no age barrier but even adoption has no age barrier.

    This is my father and adopted brother. I too was adopted but back when I was only a year and half old.

    To set the record straight Steve had always remained close to the us. He was a part of our family way before this adoption. It only made sense that an adoption, even at their ages, would happen since Steve has been around since he was 14 years old.

    I’m happy for Dad and Steve for going through with this but saddened by the fact I have been disowned by the family.
