Petrol Price in Mauritius – December 2009

The price of petrol in Mauritius for December 2009 has been announced about half an hour ago. The Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) has decided to increase the price of petrol while lowering the others for this update. Below are the details.

  • Old Petrol Price: Rs 38.75/Litre  ——>  Petrol December 2009  Price: Rs 41.65/Litre
  • Old Diesel Price: Rs35.25/Litre ——> Diesel December 2009 Price: Rs 32.65/Litre
  • Old Crude Oil Price: Rs18.12/Litre ——> Crude Oil December 2009 Price: Rs 16.76/Litre

    mauritian people are foooooooool,because wen petrol get up they talk a lots rubbish and wen we need to take action wat they do they go directly to the filling station to full their transports ,its not a good idea to do that,instead of going to pump station why dont they go to the house of minister to make a good decision………..we work hard and they sit on their chair an all works done by their PA and they gets award in doing good jobs.poor people will become more poor n rich will stat more richer,

    Each meeting, either we see Petrol price go down and diesel rise up. I suspect the decisions of the APM. Are they competent enough to take such decisions? Look what happened to Air Mauritius by adopting the hedging policy.
