Shahrukh Khan Moon Crater is Fake or True?
Shahrukh Khan was recently gifted a crater on the moon. A lunar crater was renamed to Shahrukh Khan. However, as weird as this sound, the fact is that no one has the right to sell a piece of land on the moon. Well people can assign a name or an offer for fun but not in REAL.

Since the last 2 days, Shahrukh Khan Twitter account is being flooded by congratulation tweets from many fans in the world for having his own little piece of land on the moon. The lunar crater was reportedly gifted to Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan by the International Lunar Geographic Society.
The International Lunar Geographic Society is a private group that assigns lunar craters name to people from around the world. Normally this is for fun only.
Update: We have been contacted by the International Lunar Geographic Society who is saying that they do not have any connection with the moon deed mass sales which is despised by many. As such we have modified this article with new proper facts. Below is an extract of what ILGS has to say:
The Lunar Geographic Society has nothing to do with the phony “moon deed” sales of Dennis Hope. We are the largest Lunar advocacy group in the world, and have done more to promote the free and peaceful exploration of the Moon than any other group in the past ten years. We have more than 5,000 Indian citizens in our active membership.
It is good to know that the International Astronomical Union (IAU) is strongly against the practice of selling celestial bodies and spots. The IAU is the body which is responsible for naming space objects and spots. Adding to it the United Nation Outer Space Treaty strongly disallows the real selling of any celestial spots or bodies.
Anything in space is considered to be an heritage of humankind in its whole and not to specific country or people. Again we’ll like to send our apology to International Lunar Geographic Society for the little miss-information we previously had. We somehow confused the ILGS with the sales of moon land of a famous entrepreneur named Dennis Hope. (More about Deniss Hope here on Wikipedia).

[...] Shah Rukh Khan. He’s acted in 72 films, Madam Tussaud’s unveiled his wax replica, a crater on the moon is named after him, and when he joined twitter on January 3, not only was this news, he had over 100,000 [...]
Who said we cannot buy land on the moon? What a joke. I never signed into the United Nations Space Treaty and could not care less for it. It obviously is outdated and needs to be changed or people not to buy into that reality.
Space tourism is a reality. Do you think that space tourists will only want to fly into outer space and then back again. This space treaty sounds ridiculous. With obvious signs of life in the Universe who even says the UN has the Power in Space. It is not theirs to decide. It is ours.. we are the people.

NASA recently bombed the moon.

So what we are told is that we cannot purchase land on the moon, but we give the Government the permission to bomb it and destroy the land?
