These self titled Honorable people running this island should be ashamed of themselves. There are people out there who know their private and well hidden past history very well. Being good now does not wash away your past sins.
Come clean, tell every one how you take back handers and grant permissions, tell us about secretly taking family land and selling it to buy positions in politics. The list is endless and the evidence is there all be it well hidden but some of us know how to find it and already have.
Our ancestors were 'Honorable' people and you are just shadows. Remember you can only kick a dog so many times before it bites you back.
Support of a just cause can topple the mightiest of giants.

I fully support Jayen for what's doing. Sadly I am not in Mauritius to be by his side.. Not everyone can have the guts to do what he is doing and I am very proud of him, I just wish more and more Mauritians living in Mauritius give him all the support he needs as he has and will always do the best for the Mauritian population

Well done Jayen and keep being strong!

ACIM has been working for all consumers of Mauritius for so long and its only now that there subsidy of only 700 000 has been removed! On the other hand, the govt will be spending a lot for this coming elections more than what they give as subsidy to ACIM. Why are they removing the subsidy? Is it bkoz ACIM is working too much for the Mauritian people for the good job they are doing. In Mri you do things on the wrong way you are gr8 - you will get subsidy or money you want from govt. Do it the right way to help out the Mauritians the govt will do everything to put "baton dan la roue" !

Its a shame for this country to be seeing this. And more shameful to see the passive side of this naive and yes-man population. By now there should have been a majority of the citizens of this country by the side of Jayen and protesting for his cause. yet we see nothing. And Mr Navin if of course watching the whole deal from his publicly stolen money golden chair.

@girish, I agree that there is much work to be done as when we compare our situation to other developed countries, we see that consumers here are not well treated.

However, it is not something that will be done by itself, it is us consumers that must collectively try to improve the situation and not accept what sellers do. As if you look at the other side of the coin, the sellers are in organizations and work together to increase their profits. If we take everything for granted, the situation would be worse.

ACIM is not the answer to everything, but it is certainly one step in the right direction and the government MUST encourage fair consumer treatment and not allow the businesses to set the rules. (no warranty, bad goods received, bad service, not as advertised etc....)

I think it is one of the basic functions of the government in a capitalist society, we are moving into. Mauritius Telecom privatized, private hospitals (Apollo), rich are richer..

ACIM has been doing a remarkable work. Anyone listening to radio+ would agree that Mr Jayen Chellum has solved so many cases of injustices being melted upon the consumers. At times consumers suffer from great injustices and they do not know how to help themselves and ACIM has been their saviour.

We must all support ACIM so that we can fight for our rights.

@jonathan, Welcome to Mauritius. We are already a "dictatorship" country. Just have a look at today newspaper and you will know what I'm talking about. We should try organize some support for ACIM among the UOM students although I agree that +50% of UOM population are morons and retarded students. Feels sorry to say that but it's the case!
