Twins From Different Dads!

Ever thought about twins having two different fathers but the same mom? Right! It is possible and a poor Daddy in Istanbul has had the worst surprise of his life to find out that one of his twin sons is not his own son. Apparently this is biologically possible.

A.K a man in Istanbul had some doubt about his wife. So he decided to request for a DNA test on his two twin sons of 3 year old. The report surprisingly proved that only one of the sons matched his DNA profile while the other one is from another man.

The weird part is that both sons were born from the same mother on the same day! So how is this possible? According to experts Joëlle Bellaïsch-Allart and Professor Rusen Aytac this is biologically possible but is an extremely rare condition.

Normally sperm cells can live up to 8 days inside the woman’s body after intercourse. So assuming the mother had an intercourse with A.K on day 1 (fictional date) and then had another intercourse in the coming 5 to 7 days following the previous one. There is a very small probability that ovulation began at the same time for both the sperm of Father 1 and Father 2.

A really weak probability but this is something which is possible. So in this particular case, the poor woman is now facing a divorce request from the heart broken husband with whom she was FORCED to marry with. This now goes into another niche which is personal problem and which we do not really care about. That is their personal life but what we now know is that Twins can have two different fathers. And what next?
