HSC Results 2010 for Mauritius are expected on either the 8th or 9th of February. As usual, it is the same anxiety, the same excitement and the same nightmares of the result day for most students who worked for HSC last year.

Last year, the HSC results 2009 were announced on the 6th of February and this year since 6th is a Saturday, we are all expecting the results for Monday. I personally think it is going to be on Monday but there are other factors to consider as such it can also be on the coming Tuesday.

It’s always a pleasure to see thee own college having laureates. Many of you have been asking on the previous post of SC Results if we’ll have the HSC results online. The short answer is no. No news group or website in Mauritius can get these results and putting it online is a matter of privacy again. If someone tells you that he can show you your results online, then he/she is taking you for a honoured fool.

Of course the MES can put a system which allows each students to verify his result privately on an online system but helas I guess the MES is far from doing something like that. They are too….tired. (And we call our island the Cyber Island?) So ladies and gentleguys, you will have to go to your respective colleges to fetch your results slip.

Meanwhile, as you get stressed and lose some more of your hairs (maybe some are turning white too ), let’s put our little annual poll! As for the details, result statistics and also the laureates names, we shall update that for you on a new interlinked post on the result day. So keep in touch.
