Orange Expo 2010 – Mauritius
Orange Expo 2010 organised by the Mauritius Telecom will be held from March 26 to March 28 at the Swami Vivekananda conference center at Pailles. Like last year’s theme, this year too the conference center will be decorated like an Orange-Styled Village.

Orange Expo is an annual “commercial” expo where Orange tries to market it’s latest technology products, and services but at the same time trying to inform Mauritians about the latest technology.
From a personal point of view, and also according to tech savvy people who attended the expo last year, the event is a waste of time except for people who are not really up to date with the latest trends. For the fact, Orange Expo is not really a place to discover new technologies but rather a place to see some available technologies in real.
Like the Infotech, Orange Expo is just another commercial event. However there will also be some mini talks and demos by Orange for students and people interested in knowing more about the latest technologies that Orange are retailing. Some BPO companies will also be attending the event, so those looking for a job in the BPO sector can use this opportunity.

Lorsque j’ ai téléphoné, ce 26 3 2010, à Orange, la ligne a été très mauvaise et j’ ai pensé que ça commençait bien ! ! !
Lorsque j ‘ ai dit à l’ opératrice que je ne connaissais pas encore mon numéro de tel.fixe par coeur, elle m’ raccroché au nez sans me laisser le temps de consulter mon agenda !
Quelle belle leçon de communication ! ! …De la part d’ une entreprise de pointe !
