Boeing C 17 Crash in Alaska

A Boeing C-17 Globemaster III aircraft has crashed in Alaska at the Elmendorf Air Force base. The crash occured early on Wednesday evening (local time) at about 18:14. According to initial reports, four crew members were on board the aircraft.

The C 17 plane was assigned to the 3rd Wing at Elmendorf Air Force Base and was on a local training missing when the plane went down at the end of the runway. The condition of the crew members are unknown as at the time we are posting this article.

Alaskans are very connected to the military and our thoughts and prayers are with Alaska’s Air Force Family, said Alaska Governor Sean Parnell in a recent statement. We will update this post as soon as there are additional information about this crash.

Update 17:00 GMT+4 – All 4 crew members have died in the crash. Their names were not revealed as at the time of this update. An inquiry is still going on to know the cause of the crash.
