Prince of Persia, The Sands of Time review! Prince of Persia falls into the category of films that are more comfortably called candy-floss or popcorn movies instead of mindless flicks with only a great visual appeal. Director Mike Newell does not deliver in terms of originality of the script or path breaking screenplay. Yet the film does a fair job as is expected from Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer, the makers.
