Here are some photos of Star Anise Seed, also called Anis Etoilé in French and Creole. Honestly I never heard or saw this seed previously. Maybe it is due to my lack of knowledge when it comes to the kitchen stuff. Star anise is often used in tea as a remedy for rheumatism. The seeds when boiled in water also help in digestion.
