Bus Accident Near Pont Colville – It’s CNT Again!

Last Updated: February 17, 2012 - Published February 17, 2012 / Leave a comment

The CNT bus accident at Mt-Ory, near Pond Colville today morning resulted in over 25 passengers being injured. Yet again the same question arises, who’s to be blamed? According to media reports, the accident is due to a brake failure.

The CNT bus was heading towards Port Louis from Quatre Bornes. As the bus was approaching Pond Colville, the driver suddenly noticed that the brakes were not responding and according to witnesses, the experienced driver managed to avoid a free fall into the deadly pit which would have otherwise resulted in many casualties.

So the obvious question now is who was at fault? As dumbly expected, the head of the National Transport Corporation announced on Radio Plus that the bus was in a perfect state! Of course we all know how comfortable and hi-tech (o-really?) those old CNT fags-buses are! It’s easy for many of us to blame the driver for today’s accident but the fact is that those passengers are still alive due to the driver and it’s a known fact that those old CNT buses are a real pain in the ass-of-our-roads!
