As is customary every year, the great night of Shiva is going to be celebrated with great fervour on the 14th night of the month of Falguna, which happens to be the 20th of February this year (2012). After demonstrating their affection and allegiance to Lord Shiva’s eldest son Muruga last week on the auspicious occasion of Cavadee, Hindus across the island are now going to pay tribute to the ultimate yogi himself.
