There are many of you right now who wish to know how to cope with your bad exam results. Yesterday we posted about the SC Results here in Mauritius and many have had good results but many others are on the dark side of the moon. ‘Failure’ Is Actually ‘Success’ Spelled Wrong…. And in this article I’ll tell you why and how you must cope with the bad results, whether in an exam or in life in general. This happens to everyone. Failure is just a test of our strengths and the instrument to measure how ‘great’ or ‘cool’ we are. What truly tests one’s ability is to stand up and succeed when one has been shattered by failure. As you will realize next, failure actually is success, only spelled wrong! STOP DWELLING ON PAST! A famous saying goes, “Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present.” Stop dwelling on your previous poor grades and that those poor grades means end of the word. There is no such thing as end of the line. Hope is what this world lives for. Don’t let your past haunt you. Your previous poor grades may hurt a little but they are going to become the reason for your success later on! STOP COMPARING! How many times it happened to you that you explained/taught something to your peers and they did better than you on the same test? Well, another advice, stop comparing. There are so many factors which make up a ...
The article below is a preview of the original article found at IslandCrisis.net. You can read the whole article here: 6 Ways To Cope With Bad Exam Results

The article below is a preview of the original article found at IslandCrisis.net. You can read the whole article here: La Politesse!
Valentine’s Day is a selfish and stupid day! As you wander the isles of your local useless-stuff store, searching row after row of poetic, folded paper, the hair on the back your neck begins to rise as if someone is watching you from the other side of the store. You turn and look. No one is there. Turning back to the display stand, you wonder just what has caused the atmosphere in the room to turn oppressive. Most people acknowledge that Valentine’s Day is a fake holiday, created by the corporate titans of the greeting cards and chocolate world, however, because it is a day all about love, the average person ignores the commercial aspect and gives in to buying that special someone a gift. A holiday that’s all about love? Now that’s something exceptional. We should celebrate! Let us buy our loved ones candy and prose so that they may know their importance in our lives! See? That’s how the corporations want you to think, and that’s how most people manage to ignore the ugly side of what is to come. Remember that oppressive feeling you felt back at the card rack? It’s the part of Valentine’s Day that most people deliberately ignore: the I-better-feel-special expectation. This is the selfish side of our holiday for love. If you don’t get your significant other a gift or acknowledge them in a special way, clearly you have never loved them and never will. People expect to be fawned over and spoiled—and ...
The article below is a preview of the original article found at IslandCrisis.net. You can read the whole article here: Valentine’s Day A Stupid and Selfish Holiday

SC Results 2012 (Exams period November and December 2011) are expected for 30th January. The date was confirmed some days ago by Professor Lucien Finette, director of the Mauritius Examination Syndicate.
The article below is a preview of the original article found at IslandCrisis.net. You can read the whole article here: Rélancement du Football à Maurice

It’s been one week since Megaupload is gone! Silenced reigned in kindergarten rooms around the USA and other “yessy” countries as parents sided with the government (of the world?) and universally declared sharing as inappropriate. This decision came in the aftermath of the shutdown of Megaupload, a behemoth file-sharing site serving millions of users. Now everyone in cyberspace is afraid the federal government is peering over their shoulders, looking into personal files and barging in where they aren’t wanted. Well, of course that’s what’s going on, it’s the government. Megaupload is not the first fatality in the war against media piracy. In a recent past, music websites were targeted. Remember Napster? Not only were sites like Napster shut down for a time, users were charged with illegal downloading and fined hundreds of thousands of dollars. At that stage in the game, the government really didn’t care about the illegal part of downloading. If the multimillionaire singers and songwriters hadn’t cried foul, it’s doubtful that the feds would have even thought twice about kids downloading songs in their basements. Well, scratch that, since there was ample money to be made by way of fines, the American government would have stepped in eventually. We all know they are working diligently to pay off their national deficit!! The years between Napster and Megaupload were quiet. Now, with the ruins of the downloading giant still kicking up dust, other sharing sites are putting up shields and hiring body guards. Sites like FileSonic and Upload.to ...
The article below is a preview of the original article found at IslandCrisis.net. You can read the whole article here: Megaupload Crackdown Makes Parents Rethink Sharing

Auparavant on se disait ‘SAYE – Save As You Earn’, puis ‘PAYE – Pay As You Earn’. Maintenant on dit ‘CAYE – Cry As You Earn’. Doit-on donc l’abolir ?
The article below is a preview of the original article found at IslandCrisis.net. You can read the whole article here: Les Impôts A Maurice: Est-ce Une Légalité Immorale?
