Labour Day 2012 Mauritius: Meeting Parti Licien

Dogs in mauritius

May 1st marks the celebration of Labour day in Mauritius as well as in many other countries of our “green” planet. In Mauritius, Labor Day is also known as the most deceptively-named holiday, as, on Labor Day, employees are not expected to work but rather use the public holiday to attend grand political meetings across the Island.

While some people attended the meeting of the Labour Party, other’s went for the MMM’s (and their kindergarten partner MSM) meeting at Port Louis.

We somehow received the invitation of Parti Malin but it was too late since our drunk journalists were already dispatched to the 1st May meeting of Parti Licien proudly lead by Miss Gilou. Enjoy the speech of Parti Licien below and of course we need to spread the message so do not forget to hit the share buttons below the video.

Happy Labour Day!
