Mauritius SC Results 2012 – 2013

The much expected day nears for students in Mauritius who participated in the School Certificate (SC) and Higher School Certificate (HSC) exams in 2012. According to the official press release by the Mauritius Examination Syndicate, the S.C results are expected on Monday 28th January 2013. (See updates below).

Official results will be available at the MES between 13:00 and 14:00 and will be distributed in all colleges as from 15:00 today. Private candidates are requested to collect their result slip at the MES between 14:00 to 17:30 on Monday 28th or between 08:00 to 14:00 on Tuesday 29th January 2013.

Update 13:00 28 January 2013:

Results for School certificate exams November – December 2012 are available. According to the official announcement by the MES, this year’s pass rate is slightly lower than that of the previous year.

  • Percentage Pass for this year: 75.74%
  • Percentage Pass for last year: 76.74%

As usual the girls have a better overall performance with a 80% pass percentage. Some facts for this year’s results:

  • 62 students from QEC obtained a 6 units grade.
  • 43 students from RCC obtained a 6 units grade.
  • 31 students from RCPL obtained a 6 units grade.

Percentage pass for Rodrigues Island is at 73.3% compared to last year’s results which had a 78.7% pass percentage.

The results for HSC students are expected in Mauritius between the 4th and 8th February 2013. We will be updating this page with more details as soon we have further confirmed information from the MES.
