The fear of Friday 13th is simply called Paraskevidekatriaphobia and the fear of the number 13 in overall is called Triskaidekaphobia. Save the words for a future use, you never know when you might need them. Well I said “simply” but maybe noting them in your diary will the best idea.
Friday 13 is often associated with bad luck and the day of evil happenings. But why? Some people say do not walk under a ladder on Friday 13. Some say that looking at a black dog on this day brings bad luck. Others say that waking up on thee left foot on Friday 13 is a bad omen.
But don’t people die like horrible scary movies plot on other days of the year? Don’t people suffer from misfortune on other days of the year? What I find funny again is that in some countries like China, there are no 13th floor in buildings! But whether they mark the floor as 13 or not, the 13th floor exists.
This year it was an exceptional year as we had 3 Friday 13. The one of today being the last one for this year. It will be only in 2015 now that we will have 3 Friday 13 in the same year.
