Girls, there are some movies which are perfect to watch with your boyfriend! It is just a matter of choosing the right ones to make that home-cinema date a wonderful one. As a guy, I do have some personal choice that I’d like that my GF choose to watch. So if you are a girl, here is something for you to possibly make that date a special one.
How often do the girls find themselves in a fix, when they have to plan a rent-a movie date weekend with their boyfriends? Almost hundred percent would answer in affirmative, some stating that it is anyway easier to convince their younger siblings for a movie instead of their guys, who always complain of being tortured into watching chick flicks all the time!
Here’s a list of 5 good movies which can be seen with your boyfriend: (with hopefully less cribbing)
1. When Harry Met Sally
A genuine classic from the 80′s, it boasts of some quality humor and a witty screenplay interspersed with just the real couple mannerisms, not overtly mushy and sappy like most of the classic romances. Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan make a sensibly adorable pair, with crackling chemistry.
The movie traces their journey from friends to lovers. Very real and very watchable without your guy cribbing about about the mush nausea. Friends to lovers… Well the perfect route for any long lasting relationship.
2. The 40 Year Old Virgin
The kind of movie which any guy would pick up under an impression of it being a regular Seth Rogan flick full of s*x jokes, but it actually is a romantic comedy that both genders can enjoy equally.
It treads the fine path of being a unisex film. So, the movie about a video game collecting 40-year old nerdy virgin gets a thumbs up.
This is one sharp and smart comedy that makes for a great watch with your boyfriend. The portrayal of the lead characters almost takes a leaf out of the real teenage lives, just they way they are.
The delectable wit used to convey the gravest of situations is what scores. The ending scene is sure to tug a chord in every heart, guys and girls alike.
4. Pirates of The Carribean
Pick any one from the entire series, not a single one disappoints ever. They are not the typical mushy movies that a couple are ‘expected’ to go for, but the rollicking fun and adventure peppered with measured romance makes for a great viewing experience. Definitely worth a try…and I just love Keira!!
5. Notting Hill
The list can never be complete without an all-out romantic comedy. Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant in this movie sway you into a dream world with everything perfect. The love between a super star and an ordinary book shop owner never fails to touch. It always leaves the audience with a feeling of head up in the clouds!
